An open contribution to the making of Kerning, the debut LP of Pfeifer. Kerning is a self-supported independent release. Contributions go directly toward album production, mix and master, record packaging, and promotional rollout.

Patrons will receive a personalized album bundle on release. All physical items in the bundle are exclusive and will never be re-issued. The minimum contribution is set at $250. Any contribution beyond the minimum is encouraged, and sincerely appreciated.

Prior to purchase, patrons will be prompted to answer the question — 'what are you furthest from?' These responses will be printed cumulatively across the vinyl and CD sleeves, and individually onto the bespoke posters.

Kerning calibrates distance. The right space is what makes a word legible, what gives it shape.

Most of life is Kerning. The space between us and the people we love. The space between who we are and who we want to be. The space between what we say and what we mean.

This album is an attempt to name those spaces.
